How to Make Sunshine Out of Rain

I don’t know about you, but I’ll always take a hot, sunny day over a stormy, rainy one. In Nashville, it’s been a very cloudy, dreary week. I’m just glad it’s still hot outside! ;) Hurricane Laura has unfortunately affected Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. As much as we can prepare for the worst, obviously it’s all up to Mother Nature. I try to see the positive in every situation and make sunshine out of rain. It’s the tough times that really cause me to rely on God and give up my control. Do what makes you happy. It’s always the little things that personally bring me happiness. My new friend, Michaela, and I recently had a girls night where we went to a sunflower field at sunset, grabbed dinner, had a sleepover, and ended up going Instagram Live singing “Bleeding Love”... if that doesn’t scream turning a rainy day into a great day then I don’t know what does!

What’s your go-to move to turn your mood around?
