How I Maintained my Sanity During Quarantine
Quarantine is an extravert’s LEAST favorite word lol. When the stay at home order was set in Nashville in mid March, I didn’t know what to do regarding work and plans. I am such an avid planner because as an entrepreneur trying to make a dream become a reality and working multiple jobs, I went from having a very busy schedule balancing all of my ventures and workouts to absolutely nothing. My sleep schedule slowly got turned upside down, I became very depressed and felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere in my life. I spent a lot more time on developing content for IG, got back into running long distance (since the gyms were closed), and even found myself putting more time into my relationship with God. There’s something special about having to stop and slow down. I connect with God the most when I’m in nature on a hike or a trail run, which I had all the time in the world for! I had jam packed my schedule so much prior to quarantine that some nights I barely even made time for Him and quarantine was definitely a big eye opener for me regarding my faith. We can plan as much as we want to, but ultimately God decides!
